Alarm System for Tanks Pepperl+Fuchs

Alarm systems for fuel tanks

The NV05-11 intrinsically safe alarm system for monitoring containers and tanks has connections for four different types of sensor inputs:

  • NVF sensors monitor overflow of light liquids in tanks by distinguishing between air and liquid. They are approved for installations in hazardous areas up to zone 0
  • KVF-103-PF monitors oil layer thickness by distinguishing between air and water and oil and water. They are approved for installations in hazardous areas up to zone 0
  • Circuit amplifier on/off pressure sensors monitor double wall pipelines in hazardous areas up to zone 1
  • Namur sensors

The alarm system is easily mounted on a DIN rail and features conveniently located DIP switches that allow for field configurations.

The NV05-11 has LEDs to display the actual operation mode and a built in acoustic warning alarm. Furthermore, there are 2 independent potential-free changeover contacts that can be connected to an external remote alarm or to a central monitoring system.
