Tecsis — 0 ... 0.6 bar to 0 ... 600 / 1000 bar P3026

The P3026 is a welded chemical seal and is attached to gauges or pressure sensors by a thread. The process pressure is transmitted to the measuring instrument with the diaphragm forming a hermetic seal between the medium and measuring instrument. The wetted parts of these chemical seals are manufactured in stainless steel as standard. In connection with a bourdon tube pressure gauge or an transducer, they are suitable for pressure ranges from 0...1 bar to 0...600/1000 bar.

Chemical seals are used for applications with high temperature, high viscosity (media in paste form) or  propensity to crystallize of the medium, as these factors can falsify the pressure measurement. For particular service conditions the parts in contact with the medium can be manufactured in special materials. If overpressure occurs, a specially designed diaphragm prevents the chemical seal from damage.
