The SIPLUS CMS X-Tools analysis software is installed on the higher-level evaluation PC and is not included in the scope of supply (see "Analysis Software" → "SIPLUS CMS X‑Tools").

Cyclic data exchange with the analysis software on the industrial PC starts after being called by SIPLUS CMS4000 X-Tools. The data is visualized, analyzed and archived there.

From the point of view of SIPLUS CMS4000 X‑Tools, the ION SIMATIC S7‑300 T001 is the Ethernet device that communicates by means of TCP/IP.
