ALPHA 400-ZS meter cabinets can be used at any location where electrical power is applied, measured and distributed. Meter cabinets and components are modularly designed, resulting in a great number of project-based installation and configuration options.

Siemens is offering the new ALPHA 400-ZS meter cabinet system for universal application in residential and non-residential buildings. Based on the ALPHA 400 wall-mounted distribution board system, a modular system was developed that was constructed in the same way and features a high degree of variability as regards casing design, form of delivery, degree of protection and equipment. The system meets all current technical supply conditions of the public utilities (TAB).

Special attention was paid to the different regional requirements of the distribution network operators and installation procedures.

The system includes unequipped distribution boards as Flat Pack for surface mounting (delivery as individual parts for self-assembly), pre-assembled unequipped distribution boards for surface and flush mounting, cabinet-high quick-assembly kits for extremely fast equipping and wiring, as well as many accessories.

The straightforward system design facilitates easy planning, calculating, ordering, delivery, transport, equipping and assembly of components and entire cabinets.

The ALPHA SELECT software is available as a planning aid for installers, planers, and electrical wholesalers. This software facilitates fast planning and calculation of prices for distribution boards and meter cabinets. By selecting the town or city, postal code and the corresponding power utility standard, you will be offered a range of complete meter cabinets and mounting examples that meets the respective standards. Furthermore, individual combinations of unequipped distribution boards and quick-assembly kits can be planned.

The modularly designed ALPHA 400-ZS meter cabinets consist of the following system components: unequipped distribution boards, quick-assembly kits, accessories.

With its universal system design and the option of combining it with ALPHA 400 DIN distribution boards, the ALPHA 400-ZS series features many options for planning and developing even large meter cabinet and distribution board systems.

To complete the systems, ALPHA cable entry and cable terminal boxes are also additionally available. For internal measuring, meter assembly kits can be installed in all Siemens installation systems with a depth of 210 mm.

Особенности

Short assembly times and less stock keeping are the two main benefits of the ALPHA 400-ZS meter cabinet system with quick assembly kits, because the unequipped distribution boards and other components are constructed the same way as the ALPHA 400-DIN distribution board.

The system that consists of unequipped distribution boards in 4 different heights and 5 different widths, as well as quick assembly kits in 3 different widths, makes it possible to plan and install meter cabinets in residential and non-residential buildings according to the current technical supply conditions of the public utilities (TAB) and the respective power utility standards.

Aside from the standard meter cabinets with degrees of protection IP31 and IP43, the system also includes meter cabinets for humid rooms with degree of protection IP55.
