The IM 460-0 interface module is intended for use as a send IM for central connection over short distances of up to 5 m. It transfers data from both the P-bus and the C-bus to the expansion racks.

The IM 460-0 is intended for use only in association with the IM 461-0 interface module (in the expansion racks).

Дизайн

The IM 460-0 interface module can be inserted into the following central controllers:

• UR1,
• UR2 and
• CR2.

Up to 8 expansion units can be connected (up to 4 per interface). Up to 6 IM 460-0 units can be plugged in per central controller.

The module has:

• 3 LEDs for indicating faults.
• 2 interfaces for connecting the expansion lines via 468-1 connecting cable.
